Vice President Harris Commends Liberia’s Commitment To Democracy And Peaceful Transition Of Power

Monrovia – Vice President Kamala Harris recently engaged in a call with President Joseph Boakai of Liberia, where she commended the country’s successful free and fair elections and peaceful transfer of power. The Vice President praised Liberia as an exemplary model of democracy for the region and the world.

During the conversation, Vice President Harris and President Boakai emphasized the significance of good governance in fostering prosperity and reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing democracy in West Africa through collaboration. They highlighted the critical importance of upholding the rule of law and transparency to attract U.S. private sector investments in Liberia.
