In a harrowing turn of events, victims are finally breaking their silence, sharing spine-chilling and heartrending stories that reveal a dark reality. The fugitive, Abraham Kamara, a so-called doctor, is not only responsible for the death of 39-year-old Dorcas Vondeh but has also left countless others in his wake, suffering from his reckless practices.

This morning, we received over a dozen testimonies from victims directly affected by Kamara’s malpractice. One victim, whose name we are withholding for confidentiality, is slowly dying due to a botched surgical procedure performed by Kamara. The extent of her injuries is evident, as the scars on her abdomen reveal the severity of the unnecessary operation she endured for a simple medical issue.

The victim is scheduled to seek further medical assistance at JFK Hospital on Monday, while Kamara remains on the run. Recent intelligence suggests that he has fled to Sierra Leone via Bo Waterside. We urgently call on our government, particularly the Ministry of Justice, to issue an INTERPOL Red Notice for Kamara. He must be brought to justice for the suffering he has caused.

Another victim, Comrade Mohamed Chicharito Konneh, narrowly escaped death at Kamara’s hands. He described his ordeal in a previous post, highlighting the severe injuries inflicted when Kamara operated on him. Kamara is a murderer, and we demand his immediate arrest for the extensive damage he has caused to so many lives.

We insist that the two facilities owned by Kamara—ABC Clinics located in the Aluminum Factory Community and Iron Factory Community in Gardnersville—be shut down and potentially seized if he is found to be the rightful owner. Additionally, we urge the Liberia Medical and Dental Council (LMDC) to close his other unauthorized clinic operating in Margibi. It is imperative that we confront this predatory criminal from every angle and ensure he is held accountable for his actions.

We demand justice for all his victims—JUSTICE. JUSTICE. JUSTICE. It is time for a nationwide crackdown on fake medical credentials, substandard medical schools, unlicensed practitioners, and unauthorized medical facilities, such as backyard clinics. Our people are dying every day due to the alarming rise in failed surgeries leading to avoidable deaths. We must act now to prevent more tragedies. The lives of Liberians matter.
